GOOSKY RS5 Ultra – The Next Generation of the RS5

The GOOSKY RS5 Ultra takes the proven RS5 550-class platform and pushes it further with a redesigned airframe, sharper rotor-head geometry, stronger drivetrain, improved tail system and a significantly larger battery compartment.

Developed with competition-level flying in mind, the RS5 Ultra is built to deliver a more precise, responsive and confident feel while retaining the practical 550-class size that made the original RS5 so popular.

What’s New on the RS5 Ultra?

This is much more than a new canopy. GOOSKY has updated several of the areas that matter most for hard 3D and precision flying.

Stronger Three-Layer Main Frame

The reinforced three-layer frame increases chassis rigidity, giving the helicopter a stronger foundation and helping keep the mechanics precise under demanding flight loads.

New 1:1 FBL Rotor Head Geometry

The new 1:1 control geometry is designed for higher control resolution, more precise cyclic input and faster response — a major upgrade for pilots who want a more connected feel.

Integrated self-lubricating POM blade-grip spacers also help provide smoother operation while simplifying assembly and maintenance.

Upgraded Drivetrain

The original RS5 used a 107T main gear. The RS5 Ultra moves to a larger, reinforced 116T main gear, designed to better handle high torque and demanding 3D flying.

A new automatic belt tensioning system maintains consistent belt tension as you fly, helping improve drivetrain reliability and reducing the need for manual adjustment.

More Refined Tail Performance

The RS5 Ultra raises the tail rotor output shaft by 14%, bringing the tail rotor plane closer to the main rotor plane to help reduce pitch coupling during pirouettes. Redesigned belt guides and idler support improve belt control under high loads.

A two-position adjustable tail pitch bellcrank lets pilots choose between higher control resolution and a faster tail response.

GOOSKY also redesigned the carbon-fiber tail boom, increasing bending strength by 38% while reducing weight by approximately 30g for quicker, more responsive tail performance.

Much Larger Battery Compartment

One of the most practical upgrades is the expanded battery bay. The original RS5 compartment measured approximately 245 × 52 × 60mm, while the RS5 Ultra increases available space to 300 × 62 × 56mm.

That extra room gives pilots considerably more flexibility when choosing batteries and balancing the helicopter.

Quick-Release Canopy

The redesigned Ultra canopy uses a convenient quick-release mounting system for faster battery changes and easier access to the electronics.

Two Striking Colour Options

Choose the cool, clean look of Glacier Blue or the high-visibility Danxia Orange. Both feature the new RS5 Ultra graphics and aggressive competition-inspired canopy design.
