HOTA D6 Ultra GaN + SiC 650W Dual Smart Charger – Clear Black / US Plug

The HOTA D6 Ultra GaN + SiC AC/DC Smart Charger is the latest generation of HOTA's popular D6 dual-channel charger. The new Ultra version combines a high-efficiency GaN power supply with increased AC charging power, faster balancing and a compact transparent black design.

With a standard AC outlet, the D6 Ultra delivers up to 300W total charging power. When powered from a suitable DC source above 24V, output increases to as much as 325W per channel / 650W combined, making it suitable for everything from smaller field packs to larger high-capacity RC helicopter batteries.

This is the new GaN + SiC D6 Ultra model in Transparent Black and includes a US-style AC power cable for use in Canada and the United States.

GaN + SiC Power Technology

The D6 Ultra uses modern GaN (Gallium Nitride) and SiC (Silicon Carbide) power technology to provide higher power density and improved efficiency in a compact charger. Compared with the previous D6 generation, the Ultra offers increased AC charging performance while maintaining the familiar compact dual-channel format.

Dual-Channel Charging

Two independent charging channels allow two batteries to be charged simultaneously. Each channel supports up to 15A charge current and up to 325W when operated from a suitable DC power source.

• DC Charging Power: Up to 325W x 2 / 650W total
• Charge Current: 0.1-15A per channel
• Balance Current: Up to 1600mA per channel

High-Current Balancing

With up to 1600mA balance current per channel, the D6 Ultra can balance lithium battery packs faster than many conventional hobby chargers, helping reduce the time spent waiting for cells to finish balancing near the end of a charge cycle.

Charging & Discharging

In addition to normal charging and balancing, the D6 Ultra supports battery discharging and conditioning. Internal discharge power is up to 15W per channel, while an external load can be used for substantially higher discharge power.
