STEAM 271 Red Anaerobic Bearing Adhesive is a high-strength retaining compound designed for securing bearings and other close-fitting metal components in RC helicopter assemblies. It cures between fitted metal surfaces in the absence of air, creating a strong bond that helps prevent bearings from rotating, shifting, or loosening under vibration and high-speed operation.

Usage Instructions

1. Remove the bearing or component and thoroughly clean both mating surfaces.
2. Remove all oil, grease, dust, and old adhesive to achieve maximum bonding strength.
3. Ensure both surfaces are clean and dry before application.
4. Apply a small amount of adhesive evenly around the outside of the bearing or inside the bearing seat.
5. Install the bearing immediately and position it correctly.
6. Wipe away excess adhesive before it cures.
7. Allow approximately 10 minutes for initial fixation.
8. Allow approximately 24 hours for the adhesive to reach maximum strength before operating the helicopter.

Important: Apply sparingly and only to the outside of the bearing or the bearing seat. Do not allow adhesive to enter the bearing, as it may lock or damage the internal moving components. Due to its high holding strength, heat and suitable tools may be required for later removal.
